Can it clean diamond rings?

Yes — ultrasonic cleaning is the preferred method of professional jewelers for diamonds. The 45kHz waves reach deep into settings where manual cleaning can’t. Note: do not use on sapphires, emeralds, porous stones, pearl, or amber jewelry.

What can I use this for besides jewelry?

This cleaner handles eyeglasses, sunglasses, watches (waterproof only), makeup brushes, coins, small metal tools, and razor blades etc.. Not suitable for soft gemstones (pearl, amber, opal) or non-waterproof electronics.

Will this work on nose glasses or delicate frames?

Yes — the 600ML tank fully submerges most nose glasses and reading glasses without bending the frame. For delicate titanium or memory-metal frames, use the 90-second gentle cycle. Avoid with lacquered or painted frames.

It smells like something is burning. Is this normal?

A slight motor smell during the first 2-3 uses is just normal break-in. Continuous burning means overheating; the CDS-100 has a built-in cooling fan to prevent this, which many lack. Please message our store for a replacement if it persists.

I want something that cleans better than manual brushing — does this work?
