STUD MODE

If you are not sure about the depth of the stud, Please measure from shallow to deep 1/2″/1″/1½” (12/25/38mm) In order to better obtain the data you need.

METAL MODE

Metal pipe mode could detect metal in walls to a depth of 2.36 inches (60mm).

AC MODE

The AC line mode can detect to a depth of 2 inches (51 mm). For safety, this wall scanner always detects and indicates live AC lines in all modes

MAGNETIC MODE

The magnetic mode can detect to a depth of 0.4 inches (10 mm). Stud finders are equipped with modern electronic detection as well as traditional magnetic detection. The combination of both modes can help you detect studs accurately.

WAY TO CALIBRATION Press MODE to turn on the machine, switch to the stud mode, put it on the wall to be tested for calibration, after hearing the “Bl” prompt, it means that the calibration has been completed. if you need to change another wall for measurement, you need to re-calibrate once); in AC/Metal mode, PLEASE put it in air for calibration

SCANNING THE WALL Move the stud finder slowly along the wall, if you accidentally shake or lift the scanner, the device will need to be recalibrated.

FINDING THE CENTER POINT When the signal bar on the screen shows CENTER and the buzzer is the loudest, it means you have found the center of the object. Mark it with a pencil.
